How to use this tool
Mining Calculator estimates how much you can earn mining a coin with your hardware (or a custom hashrate) after electricity and pool fees.
How it works
- Pick a mineable coin — the hardware list filters automatically to rigs that share the same proof-of-work algorithm.
- Use Hardware preset to select a known GPU/ASIC, or switch to Custom setup to enter hashrate, unit and power draw manually.
- Set your electricity rate ($/kWh), optional pool fee and number of identical rigs — results update live.
- The summary shows gross revenue, net revenue after pool fees, daily power cost, margin and coins mined per day.
- Day, week and month projections help compare short-term cash flow; break-even electricity shows the max $/kWh where mining stays profitable.
What to consider
- Estimates assume current network difficulty, block reward and coin price — real earnings change as the network and market move.
- Pool luck, firmware tuning, rejected shares and hardware degradation are not modeled.
- Custom mode is useful for overclocked rigs or mixed farms not in the hardware catalog.
- Click a row in Hardware comparison to quickly switch preset and re-run the calculation.
- Not financial advice — verify pool payouts and local energy costs before investing in mining hardware.
