How to use this tool
Funding Screener ranks Binance USDT perpetual futures by their latest 8-hour funding rate. Positive funding means longs pay shorts; negative funding means shorts pay longs.
How it works
- The table is sorted by funding rate — highest positive at the top (crowded longs), most negative at the bottom (crowded shorts).
- Filter by Longs pay, Shorts pay, Extreme or Neutral to focus on carry opportunities or mean-reversion setups.
- Annualized % extrapolates the current 8h rate over a full year (×3 ×365) — useful for comparing carry, not a guaranteed return.
- Avg 24h averages the last three 8h funding intervals when history is available — smoother than a single tick.
- Premium shows mark vs index price — persistent positive premium often aligns with positive funding.
What to consider
- Funding changes every 8 hours — refresh before sizing trades around settlement.
- Extreme funding can persist in strong trends — high carry does not always mean immediate reversal.
- Alt perps can be illiquid — check volume and open interest before trading less-known symbols.
- Rates refresh automatically from the PEPS funding data pipeline.
- Not financial advice — funding is one input among trend, liquidity and risk management.
