How to use this tool
Long vs Short Ratio tracks Binance USDT-margined perpetual positioning. Ratio > 1 means more accounts or positions on the long side.
How it works
- Global accounts = all traders; Top trader accounts/positions = larger participants only.
- L/S ratio is long accounts ÷ short accounts; long % shows the long share of the book.
- Crowded long: ratio ≥ 1.5 or long ≥ 60%. Crowded short: ratio ≤ 0.67 or long ≤ 40%.
- Click a row for recent 5-minute ratio history sparkline.
- Pairs are ranked by ratio — highest = most long-heavy, lowest = most short-heavy.
What to consider
- Account ratio ≠ notional exposure — use Top trader positions for size-weighted view.
- Extreme crowding can precede squeezes but is not a standalone trade signal.
- Data is Binance USDT perpetuals only — other venues may differ.
- 5-minute snapshots; Δ ratio compares to the previous interval.
- Data refreshes every ~15 minutes via lsr-long-short-ratio timer.
