How to use this tool
Liquidation Heatmap shows where long and short liquidations may cluster around the current mark price. Red bars (left) = long liquidation risk below price; green bars (right) = short liquidation risk above price.
How it works
- Estimated levels model OI across leverage tiers (5×–100×) and long/short account ratio — useful for potential liquidation zones.
- Actual liquidations come from the live PEPS liquidation feed — aggregated into price buckets for the selected window (1h, 4h, 24h).
- Toggle Estimated, Actual or Both to compare modeled clusters vs real liquidation flow.
- The blue line marks the current mark price — clusters just below often act as magnets in downtrends and above in uptrends.
- Switch symbols via the top picker — top markets by open interest are listed first.
What to consider
- Estimates assume a simplified leverage distribution — real positioning varies by exchange and trader.
- Actual liquidation data builds over time — early after deploy, the Actual layer may be sparse.
- Large estimated clusters do not guarantee a sweep — price, funding and order flow matter.
- Data refreshes automatically from the PEPS liquidation pipeline.
- Not financial advice — heatmaps are one derivative input among many.
