How to use this tool
Open Interest Screener ranks USDT perpetual futures by notional open interest (USD). Rising OI often signals new positions entering; falling OI can mean unwinds or liquidations.
How it works
- The table is sorted by OI (USD) — largest markets at the top. Use filters to focus on movers or high-liquidity names.
- Δ 1h and Δ 24h show percentage change in open interest versus prior hourly snapshots when history is available.
- Surge flags pairs with +20% OI change in 24h — often worth cross-checking with price action and funding.
- High OI filter shows pairs above $10M notional — generally more liquid for entries and exits.
- OI alone does not reveal long vs short — combine with funding, price trend and liquidations.
What to consider
- OI can rise in both trending and ranging markets — context matters.
- Alt perps may show volatile OI on thin books — verify volume before trading.
- Large OI drops after sharp moves may reflect liquidations rather than voluntary closes.
- Data refreshes automatically from the PEPS open interest pipeline.
- Not financial advice — OI is one derivative input among many.
